The MX100 microprocessor-based controller is designed to control a GE Zenith Controls automatic transfer switch (ATS). It has the capability to control either a standard transition ATS or a delayed transition ATS.
The MX100 continuously monitors source voltage, and begins monitoring generator voltage and frequency in the event that normal voltage falls below a preset drop-out value. When generator voltage is acceptable, the transfer to emergency sequence is completed.
A built-in, seven-day exerciser timer is standard in every MX100, and the unit may be used with five control input options. It also may be equipped with an optional network card that allows digital communication of ATS position, source availability, control timers and test mode.
